Industrial Landscape of Dammam
Dammam is the capital of Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province and the center of the Kingdom's oil and gas industry. The city sits at the heart of the world's largest oil-producing region, adjacent to Saudi Aramco's headquarters in Dhahran and within easy reach of Jubail Industrial City and Ras Tanura — Saudi Arabia's largest oil refinery.
The Eastern Province is home to more than $200 billion in industrial assets: Saudi Aramco's upstream operations, the Saudi Chevron Phillips petrochemical complex in Al Jubail, SABIC's world-scale chemical facilities, and the growing downstream industries that process and export Arabian crude. The Ras Al Khair minerals industrial zone and the new Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) phosphate complex are also in the region.
